February 28, 2006 - deadline for papers submission. (format)

The conference is organized by the Institutes of Mathematics of Technical University Ilmenau (Germany) and University of Zielona Góra (Poland). It will take place in  the Institute of Mathematics of Polish Academy of Science, Conference Center in Będlewo, about 20 km from Poznań. The number of participants is restricted to about 60 in order to maintain a powerful "workshop" atmosphere. We also try to keep the costs low to make the conference accessibly for young researchers.

Prefered Topics:

  • Smooth Smooth and Nonsmooth Optimization,
  • Variational Problems and Variational Inequalities,
  • Optimal Control.

Other topics are not excluded.

Invited Speakers:

Moritz Diehl (Heidelberg), Adjoint Methods for Fast Optimal Control with Inequality Constraints
